Of course, its the STs best attributes that bring out the worst driver behavior, which makes it our kind of car.
The interior of the Focus ST shows how compact cars now blend utility with an appreciation for fine materials and leading-edge design. This cockpit is attractive and the materials are best in class. And just as you'd expect in a performance car, the driving position is excellent, and the optional Recaro front seats offered in the ST2 and ST3 have large side bolsters that keep you very secure during hard cornering. for you, however, as many drivers find them to be uncomfortable for long drives.
Standard equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels; performance summer tires; performance brakes; an electronically controlled limited-slip front differential; keyless ignition and entry; full power accessories; air-conditioning; cruise control; a leather-wrapped tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel; a 60/40-split-folding seatback; the Sync voice-activated phone and audio player interface; and a six-speaker sound system with a CD player, USB/iPod interface and an auxiliary audio jack.

Best small car I've owned

In the 9+ years I've owned this vehicle (Focus S, base model) I have spent exactly $0 on items that would not be considered part of regular maintenance. This car has been extremely reliable, and routinely gets mid 40's highway mileage, I've seen as high as 47 on trips of 200+ miles. It has the 5-speed MTX-75 transmission and standard 2.0L engine, which have operated flawlessly. On more than one occasion I have received unsolicited purchase requests, from dealerships and from private individuals. No deal. This has been too good a vehicle to part with. If you should encounter such a vehicle when searching for a a vehicle to purchase, it definitely deserves a 2nd look. - 5.0

Still a good car after 14 years

Bought this car used in 2015 from the dealer after it came back off a lease. Its been a very good and dependable car after getting the transmission fixed, which was done under an extended Ford warranty. Only issue I have is the AC system which has a slow leak that my mechanic hasn't been able to find. I like that the car is solid, handles very well, gets good gas mileage and has a CD player, which I still use.
