    The BMW X4 is a close cousin to the more common X3. Both are compact luxury SUVs, but the X4 differentiates itself with a sloping rear roofline thats meant to make it look more rakish and sporty. Unfortunately, this also compromises rear-seat headroom and cargo space, but those sacrifices may be worth it if you want to have something slightly different than the other cookie-cutter crossovers you see in your neighborhood. A punchy turbo four-cylinder engine is standard equipment.
    Newly standard equipment includes SiriusXM satellite radio, Android Auto compatibility, and several driver-assistance features. There are also some changes to the various option packages.
    Edmunds saidall though it looks faster and sportier than it is, the X4 offers enough BMW handling goodness and ride comfort to make spirited drives a good time. The X4's shape is recognizable and has enough style to turn heads in the valet line. It's a niche offering but it excels at what BMW intends it to be.
    Standard feature highlights include19-inch wheels, Sport suspension, LED headlights, Power-folding and heated side mirrors, Power liftgate, Panoramic sunroof, Power-adjustable front seats, Simulated leather upholstery, a Digital instrument cluster and the 10.25-inch touchscreen navigation system.

      I have owned BMWs for over 20 years, owned 325, 328, 228AWD and driven a 525 for a few weeks when my 325 was being repaired, of all these, this X4 is the best! I plan on upgrading in a few months to the M version, I am retired and figure this be my last car before going to the big Autobahn in the sky, might as well leave this world in a zoom-zoom car considering my first was also zoom-zoom car I created from a 1972 Ford Maverick Grabber edition with 5.0L engine.…

      This is a fantastic performance SUV! It is powerful, precise, and has aggressive styling. I wouldn't recommend it to someone who is a fan of regular long trips as sports seats can be a bit uncomfortable but it's perfectly fine as a daily driver.…

      Sporty Alternative to X3

      I had an X3, which was great, and now have the X4 M40i and once you get used to the shape, rear blind spot and difference in cargo so space, you see the X4 offers a quick, sporty alternative to the more traditional family vehicle which is the X3. Both drive more like sedans than typical SUVs except you ride higher and have more forward visibility. The M40i is recommended, it’s plain fast. Mine has everything except live cockpit which is fine with me. Leather, premium package, driving assistance, etc. A very fun all around car. If you plan on having taller adult rear passengers and/or routinely have lots of cargo, consider the X3 or X5. If you are somewhere between more space than a sedan and won’t mind a sloping rear, try the X4. Haters will comment it’s ugly but I say unique. There are plenty of cars in the BMW lineup and something for everyone. Speed, handling, SUV type height and more room than the average sedan, you have found your solution.…
