  • Auto On/Off

Great truck the auto on/off is a little annoying but it probably does help with the MPG as I avg 15.6 most of the time around town and some hwy. When it rains just be careful on making a turn with the pavement being wet or accelerating too quick as the rear end will want to come around and see you very easily. Lots of compliments though!

The regular cab F150 XLT V8 FX4 is the truck I got. So far I love the truck if I could change some things it would be the fit and finish on the interior its not up to the price tag of these trucks if you pay 35000 for a truck it should be perfect I think. The only other issue is the 10 speed transmission in normal driving mode is doesn't shift smoothly if you use any other mode it seems much better especially sport mode the V8 is awesome. I dislike the auto stop/start ignition it doesn't save any gas what so ever. I disabled mine it was easy. I drove a Silverado regular cab and would have bought it but GM financing offers you rebates only to take them away with high interest rates and for the same money I got a more powerful V8 and better XLT FX4 package with navigation the Silverado was a work truck w/black out package no information system no NAV a bad stereo just a basic truck for the same money but it is a very good looking truck. The RAM sport regular cab would have been my first choice it had everything I wanted but I couldn't find new one within a 150 mile area the ford I got was in Maine about a 100 miles from where I live. The regular cabs are not popular especially the ones with options. In the end I'm happy with the F150 but I think any of the big three RAM Ford Chevrolet would be a good choice in the end it depends on the deal you can get from the dealers

This is my 10th F150 and never had any issues with any of them. This 2017 STX eco boost with 2.7 engine is by far the best over all in comfort, ride and performance.
