Hi Jerry,
First thanks for having your Honda dealer close to Clear Lake where I live. Not that I wouldn’t drive across town but closer is better.
On Tuesday, I emailed them through your website stating what I was interested in and asking if I could visit on Wednesday. Almost immediately I received a response from Howie Bentley who referred me to Ever, the Honda Sales Manager. Within a minute Ever emailed me saying that one of his salesmen, Edgar would help me and seconds later Edgar emailed me and we set up an appointment.
When I got there on Wednesday Edgar had an new Accord equipped exactly like I wanted it ready for me. After a test drive we sat down and he gave me a price that was well within my budget. The surprise was that they offered me what I thought was a more than generous trade-in for a 1999 Ford Expedition with 188,000 miles. Of course I wasn’t prepared to trade in the Expedition because I thought they wouldn’t give me anything for it. So I spent some time moving stuff from the Ford to the Accord and the next thing I know I’m driving home in the Accord.
Thursday, Edgar, who lives close to me, met me at a storage building to get the third row seat and the title to the Ford saving me a trip to Galveston.
Everyone I met (Howie, Edgar, Ever, John the finance manager, and the Honda service manager) were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for the lead. Your system really works.
PS When I got there there was a lady carproshow listener there as well. It was a lady I knew and worked with when I was a NASA contractor!

"I believe that I may hold the honorable position of being the first Car Pro Show customer for Classic Honda in Galveston.
Jerry, as you promised the transaction went smooth. I did my homework and knew what options I wanted on my Honda CR-V EX-L. I sent the exact information to two (2) other Honda dealers besides Classic Honda.
Classic Honda was the first to respond to my Monday morning email. The second Honda dealer finally, late in the day turned in their numbers. Then in a panic mode when they found out that their numbers were not the winning numbers wanted to play the “Manager Says” game. The truth be told that even after the managers manager (yes double managers) numbers were submitted to me they were not the winning numbers. The third Honda dealer did not respond to the email until the following day after I had purchased the car I wanted.
The team of Ever Pereira (sales), Justin Ortolon (customer service), and Eli Abad (finance) are a great team for Classic Honda in Galveston. Oh I forgot to mention that Eli presented a lower financing interest rate at the final signing than originally quoted.
